Ivington Early Days CIC is held in the Community Room in lvington Village;
We are a small, flexible and caring nursery who maintain a high staff to child ration at all times. The nursery is managed by a fully qualified Primary School Teacher, supported by Level 3 nursery assistants. We follow the Early Years Foundation Stage, offering a range of indoor and outdoor opportunities. Each half term we choose a topic and theme our sessions around it. This term its all about holidays! The staff have a great rapport with each other and the children which gives the children fantastic continuity, providing a happy, safe and stable enviroment for your child to develop. Each member of staff works closely with all the children however every child is also assigned a key person who will monitor and record your child learning progress, parents are welcome to look at their child's learning journey at any time.
The nursery is separate to Ivington Primary School, but enjoys close links with them, using their playground space, field and woodland area. This is also helps with the transition for those children going into Reception at the school.
We are a member of the Pre-school Learning Alliance and are run by a committee of parents, who are responsible for policy making and the business side of the group. . |
